The oak we select is œair dried which means it will continue to change very slightly until it is in perfect equilibrium with its environment. This process can take anything from 6-18 months and the changes may only be slight,but they enhance nature’s natural features with imperfect perfection.Supplied with concealed fixings and fitting instructions,these shelves are easy to fit to all wall types. All you do is simply fix the supplied plugs and screws to the wall and hang your shelf.The ProcessFrom the beginning to the end of the process,nothing is overlooked. We start with the selection of the timber – only the best solid wood is chosen to guarantee that we get those wonderful looking features that only mother nature herself can provide. This means no veneers or other man made wood substitutes. Next,we craft our shelves. This stage not only ensures that the shelving will be of the desired shape and size,but it will also feel smooth,look amazing and still keep all those natural features. Now,the finish. This is where our craftsmen really do us proud. The finest blends of waxes are professionally applied to the timber in 7 different stages.
